TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Deposit, Payment of Purchase Price, Fees
Buyer has paid a non-refundable deposit of $500 to be added to the waitlist. When buyer is approximately 2-4 months from receiving a puppy, they will be offered a spot on the Puppy Priority Docket. At this point, preferences will be confirmed/updated, and buyer will confirm availability for bringing home a puppy within this time frame. When buyer is added to the Puppy Priority Docket, another $500 deposit toward the total price of puppy is due. Occasionally, a buyer may be offered a puppy before they are on the priority list. When a puppy is born that matches preferences specified by buyer, buyer will be offered a puppy in order of waitlist, according to preferences. Buyer will be notified of selection order at this time of offer. Buyer has the option to pass on an offer to join a litter one time. When buyer accepts the offer to join a litter, an additional non-refundable $500 deposit is due, and all deposits become non-transferrable. The remaining balance of $3300 is due when specific puppy has been selected. Selection day occurs when puppies are approximately 6 weeks old. (Utah Sales Tax on the total price of $4800 will be charged with final payment).
2. Seller’s Representations and Warranties
Seller represents and warrants to Buyer that:
(a) Seller is the legal and true owner of the Dog and that Seller has full right and authority to sell the Dog.
(b) The Dog is being sold free and clear of any lien, security interest, charge or other encumbrance.
(c) The Dog is free of life-threatening diseases and disabilities for one week after delivery to Buyer. Dog will be up to date on shots and de-wormings. Buyer will be provided vaccination records and signed veterinary report.
(d) Buyer has 72 hours from the delivery date to have the Dog examined by a licensed veterinarian, at Buyer’s sole cost. If the veterinarian determines the dog is not in good health, Buyer may return the Dog, with a written signed statement from two veterinarian offices, for a full refund. Failure by Buyer to have the Dog examined within the 72 hour period will nullify this warranty. If Buyer chooses to keep the puppy, no replacement will be given and all medical costs and treatment are sole responsibility of the Buyer. This health guarantee will be null and void.
(g) Puppies are de-wormed regularly from birth throughout their time with us. Puppy will be due for another de-worming at 9 weeks of age. Giardia, Coccidia, and Parasites occur commonly in puppies. Should these be found in the puppy’s fecal test at 9 weeks, simple treatment and de-worming is to be expected as a regular part of puppy maintenance. Umbilical hernia or luxating patellas can often resolve as the puppy grows, and are not considered a defect warranting returns. Ear infections are very common in this breed
(h)Breeder provides a two year health guarantee for life threatening/significantly life altering genetic disease as documented in writing by two veterinarians. In this case, a full refund or a replacement puppy will be offered, to be determined as appropriate by seller and breeder.
(i) Seller will NOT replace a puppy due to heat stroke, abuse/neglect, low blood sugar due to lack of nutrition, improper socialization, fractures, or other impairments caused by improper exercise or lack thereof.
